ReviewsSubject:An immersive story!
This book is quite astounding. How can a girl of 23 years, who can't see or hear, learn to observe, comprehend, and describe her world in such a vivid way? A lot depends on the breakthrough's in deaf/blind teaching methods that occurred just as Helen needed them, and on Helen's dedicated teachers as well as her own willpower. Part 1 of this book is her own youthful story.
Helen keller biography audio The incredibly inspiring true story of Helen Adams Keller, who tragically became permanently blind AND deaf after an early childhood infection. Helen overcame great adversity by learning to.The reader makes you believe you are listening to Helen's own voice. A thoroughly immersive book. I can't wait to hear Part 2 where Patricia Neely reads Helen's letters.
